The GW4 Series Outdoor HV Disconnector is a high-performance isolating switch widely used in outdoor substations and transmission systems with rated voltages of 35kV, 66kV, 110kV, 132kV, and 220kV.
It is composed of the GW4 isolator body, CS17 manual operating mechanism (or CJ6 electric operating mechanism if required), and transmission accessories. Each voltage level is designed for reliable disconnection and grounding, ensuring safe isolation of circuits during maintenance or fault conditions.
The disconnector adopts a double-column horizontal opening structure, manufactured with high-strength porcelain insulators, advanced conductive components, and hot-dip galvanized steel parts, making it suitable for long-term outdoor operation under harsh environmental conditions.
Innovative Structure – Double-column, horizontal-opening design with rotating contacts for automatic cleaning, ensuring excellent contact reliability.
Advanced Contact Design – Contact fingers are made of high-strength, high-conductivity, and high-elasticity materials. The clamping force relies on the elasticity of the fingers, eliminating common problems such as spring corrosion, heating, and increased resistance.
Maintenance-Free Bearings – Rotating parts use sealed structures with self-lubricating bearings. Moisture, dust, and harmful gases cannot enter, ensuring long-term smooth operation without rust or grease leakage.
