1. The FR-ZJB transformer neutral point gap grounding protection device is specifically designed for the neutral point of 110KV, 220KV, 330KV, and 500KV power transformers. It enables the transformer to operate with either grounded or ungrounded neutral point, thus avoiding damage to the transformer caused by high neutral point voltage due to system faults. This product is widely used in the fields of power, metallurgy, petrochemical, construction, and environmental protection.
2. Generally speaking, rod gaps have highly uneven electric fields, unstable discharge voltages, and large dispersion, which determines their poor protective performance. Sphere gaps have uniform electric fields, stable discharge voltages, and small dispersion, resulting in better protective performance. Sphere gaps are easier to adjust on-site, allowing users to adjust them according to their local conditions. On the other hand, aligning rod gaps with pointed tips is particularly difficult, making on-site adjustment more challenging. Sphere gaps require high-quality stainless steel balls with silver plating, which increases the cost and has strict fixing requirements. Therefore, many manufacturers choose rod gaps to reduce costs without considering the effectiveness.
3. Current transformers selection: Dry-type current transformers cast with epoxy resin are used. The current transformers are installed in stainless steel enclosures, which are not affected by environmental conditions and have a long service life. Effective protection, stable characteristics The FR-ZJB transformer neutral point gap grounding protection device mainly adopts a spherical discharge gap, which has higher accuracy, less dispersion, and stable characteristics compared to the conventional rod-shaped discharge gap. It accurately and effectively coordinates with the characteristics of the surge arrester and the insulation of the main transformer, with a large thermal capacity and less susceptibility to burnout. It improves the safety and effectiveness of protection.
3). Flexible configuration, convenient to use The FR-ZJB transformer neutral point gap grounding protection device adopts a spherical gap, but can also be equipped with a rod-shaped gap according to user requirements. The surge arrester and isolation switch can be flexibly combined and selected according to engineering needs. The operation of the isolation switch can be manually or electrically controlled according to project requirements. 3. GENERAL WORKING CONDITIONS

1). Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
2). Ambient temperature: not lower than -40°C, not higher than +55°C; relative humidity: not greater than 95% (25°C).
3). Altitude does not exceed 4000m, and special customization is available for altitudes above 4000m according to actual conditions.
4). Suitable for areas with seismic intensity of 8 degrees or below; maximum wind speed does not exceed 35m/s.
5). Grid frequency: 58-62Hz (for 60Hz systems), 48-52Hz (for 50Hz systems).
6). The air in the installation location should not contain chemically corrosive gases and vapors, and should be free of explosive dust.

4. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1). When placing an order, please provide the rated voltage of the transformer, the turns ratio of the current transformer, the rated current of the isolation switch, the form of the operating mechanism, and the rated voltage of the zinc oxide arrester. If not specifically specified, delivery will be made according to the technical data standards specified in this manual.
2). Two secondary windings with a ratio of 0.5/10P should be provided for the secondary side of the current transformer for measurement and protection purposes. When not in use, it should be short-circuited.
3). The wire cross-section and type connected to the neutral point of the transformer shall be determined by the user.

5. INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
1). During installation, the equipment can be lifted using a base, and the lifting rope should not be tied to the porcelain column to prevent damage to the equipment.
2). The fixing mechanism and the column for installing the main body are not included in the scope of supply of this device. They are to be fabricated on-site by the installation unit or steel columns and anchor bolts can be provided according to user requirements (i.e., supplied above ground level).
3). The equipment should be reliably grounded.
4). The actual supply of the product shall prevail in terms of appearance and dimensions.
