FGW4 Series Outdoor HV Disconnector

The FGW4 Series Outdoor HV Disconnector is a high-performance isolating switch widely used in outdoor substations and transmission systems with rated voltages of 35kV, 66kV, 110kV, 132kV, and 220kV.
It is composed of the FGW4 isolator body, FCS17 manual operating mechanism (or FCJ6 electric operating mechanism if required), and transmission accessories. Each voltage level is designed for reliable disconnection and grounding, ensuring safe isolation of circuits during maintenance or fault conditions.

Product Introduction

The FGW4 Series Outdoor HV Disconnector is a high-performance isolating switch widely used in outdoor substations and transmission systems with rated voltages of 35kV, 66kV, 110kV, 132kV, and 220kV.
It is composed of the FGW4 isolator body, FCS17 manual operating mechanism (or FCJ6 electric operating mechanism if required), and transmission accessories. Each voltage level is designed for reliable disconnection and grounding, ensuring safe isolation of circuits during maintenance or fault conditions.

The disconnector adopts a double-column horizontal opening structure, manufactured with high-strength porcelain insulators, advanced conductive components, and hot-dip galvanized steel parts, making it suitable for long-term outdoor operation under harsh environmental conditions.

Product Features


  • Innovative Structure – Double-column, horizontal-opening design with rotating contacts for automatic cleaning, ensuring excellent contact reliability.

  • Advanced Contact Design – Contact fingers are made of high-strength, high-conductivity, and high-elasticity materials. The clamping force relies on the elasticity of the fingers, eliminating common problems such as spring corrosion, heating, and increased resistance.

  • Maintenance-Free Bearings – Rotating parts use sealed structures with self-lubricating bearings. Moisture, dust, and harmful gases cannot enter, ensuring long-term smooth operation without rust or grease leakage.

  • Corrosion Resistance – All steel parts are hot-dip galvanized; stainless steel is used for critical fasteners, ensuring long-lasting anti-rust performance even in harsh environments.

  • Reliable Grounding Interlock – Equipped with mechanical interlocks between the main circuit and the grounding switch to ensure safety. When the disconnector is closed, the grounding switch cannot be closed, and vice versa.

  • High-Strength Insulators – Support insulators are made from high-strength porcelain with excellent tensile and anti-pollution performance, ensuring reliable stability under severe weather conditions.

  • User-Friendly Design – Flat terminal connections, no need for on-site welding, and optional mounting brackets (height to be specified when ordering).
