When a fault occurs in a T-branch line or user side of a 12kV distribution line, the feeder breaker in the substation may trip due to coordination limitations, causing unnecessary power outages in the entire line. By installing the ZW32-12F breaker at the T-connection point or user boundary, it can automatically detect and isolate faults (overcurrent, short circuit, single-phase grounding), ensuring continuous power supply to non-fault areas.
This breaker features fault detection, protection, control, and communication functions. It can automatically cut off single-phase grounding faults and isolate short-circuit faults. Its application in 12kV feeder overhead lines effectively avoids cascading outages, reduces the scope of power failure, shortens outage time, and ensures the safe operation of the main grid.
