The GW4-252(D)(W) outdoor high voltage disconnect switch is composed of the isolator body, CS14G or CS17G manual operating mechanisms, transmission accessories, and can also be equipped with a CJ6-type motorized mechanism.
This disconnect switch adopts a double-column horizontal opening structure. Each pole consists of a base, post insulators, conductive rods, and contacts. The two post insulators are mounted vertically on bearings at both ends of the base, while the conductive part is installed on top of the insulators. The insulators rotate approximately 90° to perform opening and closing operations.
Key mechanical features include:
Sealed bearing design to prevent dust, moisture, and harmful gases from causing jamming.
Thrust and radial ball bearings for stable torque even after long-term operation.
Stainless steel pins and self-lubricating bushings for durability.
Copper braided conductor straps ensure low resistance and reliable current flow.
Interlock mechanism ensures safe operation between the main conductive path and grounding switch.
